Hi, I'm Heather.
I'm not just the founder of CycleMate—I'm part of this community.
I'm still on this journey, still hoping, still waiting, and still fighting right alongside you.
After two egg retrievals, three failed euploid embryo transfers, countless injections, blood tests, appointments, and more waiting than I ever thought I could handle, I realized something was missing.
The hardest part wasn't always the treatment. It was the loneliness.
My family and friends loved me, but unless you've lived infertility, it's hard to understand why every day can feel like a lifetime. Why one phone call can change everything. Why comments like “Just relax” or “Stop thinking about it”—even when they're meant with love—can hurt so deeply.
I didn't just need information. I needed people who understood.
I wanted a place where we could ask the questions we were afraid to ask, celebrate the smallest victories, hold each other through the heartbreak, and remind one another that none of us are walking this road alone.
CycleMate isn't just something I built—it's the community I was searching for.
So I built the app I wish I'd had.
I was also born through IVF in 1990, and some of my mom's closest lifelong friendships began with the women she met during her own IVF journey. That has always stayed with me.
My dream is for CycleMate to become more than an app. I hope it becomes a community where we celebrate every milestone—no matter how small—comfort each other through the hard days, answer the late-night questions, and remind one another that hope is easier to carry when we carry it together.
Because no one should have to face infertility alone. ❤️
